Somerset Belt VR Map (Brahmastra Festival of Arts and Music 2021)
This is an interactive virtual reality (VR) map which was done for the Brahmastra Festival of Arts and Music 2021 (BFAM 2021), which was partnered by the Ministry of Community, Culture and Youth, and the National Youth Council. The map depicts the Somerset Belt area and featured artists for the festival performing in the Orchard Road shopping district in Singapore. Originally available as an interactive 3D map on the BFAM website, the map had the ability to be experienced both in full VR as well as a 3D on the festival website. Working with myself were the talented 3D artists Alicia Png and Akshat Sharma. The map, originally hosted on Sketchfab is now preserved on VRChat, an online virtual reality interaction platform. Unity 3D was used for the conversion and rendering in VR space.
