Retired from military service in the 1980s, this specimen has found its way to the farms where it will be heavily used until it finds its way to the ground.

A project that mates my 2 hobbies, building radio control machines and hyperrealistic scale modelling. In the creation of this model I challenged myself to not only replicate reality visually but also program this vehicle to be able to be driven with the parameters just like the real thing, namely the Land Rover 109 Series III pickups that populate the Cameron Highlands. This subject matter reminds me of annual family vacations I took as a kid, and as a model that has been built from the ground-up, I planned for it to feature opening parts, realistic movement, electric winch, remote-operated dashboard, head and hazard lights, among other scale accessories.
